Navigating the PhD Journey – Insights, Strategies and Challenges

The session was conducted on 22nd Feb 2025 for the scholars of PhD English Batch’24. The resource person was Dr. Javairia Nousheen, a PhD alumna of the English dept., batch’18. The session had provided the opportunity to the scholars to understand the different dimensions of the research journey and navigate their path ahead. Dr. Nousheen conducted an interactive session with the scholars sharing her journey, challenges and learnings. The scholars actively participated in the session and engaged in the activities planned by the resource person. The scholars also asked their doubts from the resource person and appreciated the response. The journey from being a student to a an established professional now was also significantly discussed by Dr. Nousheen, thereby giving students an insight into the career opportunities.

Start is always a difficult thing to do, but we must decide whether it is ‘one day’ or ‘day one.’
