The Alumni Lecture was organized by the Department of English, School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences on 18th March, 2024 at 9.00 AM. The resource person was Ms. Athira Pushpamgatham, Research Assistant, In Thompson University, Canada. She grew up in Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala. She is fond of reading, dancing and music. She is an extrovert who loves to spend her time with family and friends. She completed her Masters from Reva University Bangalore. She published papers titled “An Analysis of Malayalam Language In Terms Of Code Switching and Code Borrowing and “NEGLECTED SUBJECTIVITY: AN EXPLORATION INTO THE VARIED NUANCES OF KAVITHA KANE’S NOVEL SITA’S SISTER”. She presented several papers in both International and National conferences. Few of them are, THE NOOSE: A READING OF HANGWOMAN, SIGNIFICANCE OF SHAKESPEAREAN HEROINES, GENDER AND SEXUALITY: STUDY OF THE DRAG QUEENS. She is also a Youtuber. She loves multi tasking and enjoys being involved in different work places.
