INTERNATIONAL ALUMNI TALK: School of Management Studies, REVA University has organized International Alumni Talk – An Alumni from UK was invited to address the students of the current year on higher education opportunities in overseas on 29.5.23 at 12:00 pm IN CKP HALL.

About the Program: The School of Management Studies ICONIC Alumni Club, REVA University is engaging International Alumni as knowledge Partners, experts on international alumni relationships develop international alumni networks—and keep alumni connected to their alma mater by nurturing two-way relationships. School of Management Studies international alumni are contributing towards international student recruitment, philanthropic efforts, professional development, community engagement initiatives, and many more.

Talk Highlights:

Mr. Vedant Verma had proposed many insights on the higher education in UK and overseas education is a boon for today’s modern generation, who are given opportunities to explore new avenues of culture, language, economy, and other traits of another country, along with enhancing their skills and knowledge. So, he guided the students to take up the advantage of overseas education opportunities by enrolling in reputed universities for various courses. He also spoke about overseas education; students often need professional assistance for writing assignments. He also highlighted about the time sense in UK and must follow certain rules to get through with the examination patterns. Suggested to go for marketing specialization certification courses to easy admission procedures. Feedback about the session was taken from the student’s participants on the day of the session.

Vedant Verma has a master’s in marketing from a top business school for marketing in the United Kingdom. He successfully secured a position in the "Dean Excellence Award," which let him secure a scholarship up to 50% of his educational fees.

Before starting his further studies in abroad, he served as the youngest social entrepreneur of his state Bihar, India during the time of COVID and has been recognised by various print media as well. He also served as a President of the Hindi literary Club of Reva University and these activities were actually turning points in his career. 

Well, during his Masters in the United Kingdom, he also served as a programme representative for the Department of Marketing in 2022–2023. Moreover, he also served his position as an ambassador at the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.

Now talking about today's scenario, he is serving as a social media content specialist in the world's top 10 outsourcing French company named "Web help" He is looking forward to speaking as a guest speaker at Reva University Bangalore, where he started his foundation in business administration.
