Alumni Talk on Preparing for unexpected crisis management in events

The School of Arts & Humanities organized an Industry Expert Lecture on “Preparing for the unexpected – crisis management in events” on 20th February, 2023 at 10.30pm. The resource person for the event was Mr. Aravind, [Alumnus of REVA| MAJ 2020] a Senior Associate, Pricewaterhouse Coopers – Acceleration Centers in India. The lecture was organised for the students of Arts and Humanities. 45 students attended the session. The resource person emphasized on aspects of Event Management, he also stressed upon crisis management in events. Practical exposure was also given about event management with the help of an activities. The session was extremely informative and the students attained insights about preparing event proposals and techniques of organizing various events. The topic was pertinent to the Journalism courses and oriented towards job opportunities in this niche field for Journalism students. The lecture ended with a ‘Question and Answer Session’ that was both informative and inspirational. The students approached the resource person with specific queries, which were clarified effectively.
