Description of Event:
The School of Mechanical Engineering had organized alumni talk for 8th semester Mechanical Engineering students of REVA University on “Job Opportunities in Core Mechanical Industries” on 16th September 2022 between 11.30AM to 12.45PM around 65 students and four faculty member of Mechanical Engineering are benefited from the talk given by Mr. Abin Abraham, R&D Engineer-HCL Technologies has completed Bachelor of Technology in the year 2022 in Department of Mechanical Engineering at REVA University.
Talk focused on the following key points:
- Discussed the comprehensive overview of Mechanical Industries and I.T. industries.
- To understand the interview process in Core industries.
- To explore the students how to build a resume.
- To gain the knowledge about aptitude test conducted by core industries.
Following are the outcomes achieved with this talk
- Identify difference between I.T industries and Core industries.
- Elaborate and describe the various selection processes in core industries
- Identify a suitable ways to crack a core industry.
- Describe proper resume building, communication and technical skills.
